Offecct Hanger coat stand, designed by Neri&Hu

The Hanger is a freestanding coat stand by the Shanghai design studio Neri&Hu for Offecct, part of the Flokk group. It was designed around a simple idea: garments and bags are better hung out in the open, where air circulates, than shut away in a wardrobe. A tubular steel frame in black textured lacquer rises from a black concrete base, with black leather straps as the hooks. First shown at Clerkenwell Design Week in 2016, it suits reception areas, meeting rooms, hotel rooms and home entries equally well.

Environmental declaration

The Hanger carries a published Environmental Product Declaration (NEPD-4138-3378-EN, valid to 30 December 2027): 20.87% recycled content and a cradle-to-gate carbon footprint of 39.56 kg CO2e. Manufactured by Flokk at Turek, Poland.

Warranty

Offecct provides a 5-year warranty from delivery against material and construction faults. This is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which are not limited by it. Chair Dinkum is the exclusive Australian distributor for the Flokk group, so warranty claims are handled in Sydney.
