Why the aluminum version

The polished aluminum base and frame are the dressier Aeron: they catch the light in a way the standard graphite finish does not, which suits an executive office or a design-led home workspace. We take every chair apart, sand the aluminum to remove surface wear and refinish it for an even, protected surface before rebuilding the mechanism.

Lumbar pad or PostureFit?

The lumbar pad slides up and down the back to meet the curve of your lower spine. PostureFit instead presses gently at the base of the spine, supporting the pelvis so you sit upright without effort. If you tend to slump late in the day, PostureFit is usually the better match.
