HÅG Tribute 9031

The HÅG Tribute is Flokk's executive chair, designed by Norwegian designer Svein Asbjørnsen of sapDesign®. The configurations we hold are 9031-pattern chairs — the high-back model with the adjustable headrest and HÅG TiltDown™ armrests. Flokk also builds the 9021 without a headrest and the 9073 meeting chair; both are orderable.

Underneath the leather it is a HÅG. It runs HÅG inBalance®, the same balanced tilt principle as the Capisco and the SoFi: the seat and back keep moving with you rather than locking you into a posture. The S-curved back supports the body's natural curvature, the upper back moves forward to follow you as you recline, and the lumbar support is height-adjustable by wheel.

Flokk's Tribute brochure states that "Each HÅG Tribute chair is manufactured with absolute precision and lovingly crafted by one of the many skilled technicians at our factory in Røros, Norway", where HÅG has been part of the community since 1957. Flokk's Environmental Product Declaration names the production site as Sundveien, 7374 Røros.

Seat height — two Flokk figures: the factsheet gives 410–520 mm on the 150 mm lift; Flokk's own webshop gives 387–525 mm for the same chair on the same lift. We have asked Flokk which is current and quote both until they answer. If the bottom of the range matters to you, sit in the chair first.

Certifications: Flokk's published Tribute factsheet lists EN 1335 Class A, BS 5459-2, ANSI BIFMA X5.1 and GS as pending approvals rather than granted ones, and we have not found a later Flokk document confirming they have completed. Flokk publishes an Environmental Product Declaration to ISO 14025 for the Tribute, the chair is GREENGUARD certified, and Flokk holds ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. If you need EN 1335 Class A evidence for a tender, ask us and we will obtain the current certificate from Flokk in writing before you specify it.

Maximum user weight: Flokk publishes none for the Tribute. The 110 kg figure that circulates for HÅG chairs is a condition of the ten-year guarantee, not a tested load rating. If you need a certified user weight in writing, ask us and we will request the test documentation.

Upholstery: leather or fabric. The leathers in Flokk's range for this chair are Elmosoft, from Elmo, and Paloma, from Wollsdorf. Fabric options run through Flokk's usual collections. Base finish is matt black aluminium as standard, with polished aluminium available.

Warranty: Flokk's ten-year guarantee against production defects, in normal use for up to nine hours per day; five years beyond that; fabrics and leather five years. Normal wear, labour and transport are excluded. Flokk separately guarantees the delivery of spare parts for a minimum of ten years after the chair's production date. Australian Consumer Law rights apply in addition.
