Armrests, and what the extra $200 buys. The SoFi is sold with or without armrests, and the armrests add $200. They are worth it for most desk workers. They are the SlideBack type, which pull back out of the way so you can get closer to the desk, and if you have ever fought a fixed armrest against a desk edge you will know why that exists. Flokk's older October 2019 factsheet additionally published a backpad height of 720 mm, an armrest height of 185–300 mm and an overall chair width of 600–715 mm. Those figures are dropped from the 2025 document, so we list them separately rather than mixing them in. The 2019 sheet also gave the 165 mm seat height as 395–545 mm and the weight as 17.0 kg without armrests (22.8 kg packed, with armrests). Where the two disagree we quote the 2025 factsheet. The lowest seat we stock. At 390 mm on the 165 mm lift, the SoFi has the lowest minimum seat height of any conventional task chair in our range, and it adjusts seat depth as well — the two measurements that decide whether a chair actually fits you. If you are a shorter user, this is usually the chair. Wind the seat slide fully in on the 165 mm lift and you get a 380 mm effective seat depth at a 390 mm seat height, which is the shortest combination of any conventional task chair we sell. If your measurements are changing, the three figures to read together are the 380–460 mm seat depth slide, the 20° of forward tilt and the 390 mm minimum seat height — plus SlideBack armrests that pull back out of the way, or no armrests at all for $200 less. Maximum user weight: Flokk publishes none for the SoFi. The 110 kg figure that circulates for HÅG chairs is a condition of the ten-year guarantee, not a tested load rating. If you need a certified user weight in writing, ask us and we will request the test documentation.
