Float Single Monitor Arm

Your screen should go exactly where you need it, without effort, without compromise. Float Single Monitor Arm is a spring-assisted single monitor arm made exclusively for Chair Dinkum. It holds your screen in perfect position and moves with you throughout the day, so your setup works as hard as you do.

Built around a mechanical spring mechanism, Float responds to the lightest touch. Raise it, lower it, tilt it, swivel it, the arm moves fluidly and locks precisely where you leave it. No cranks, no knobs, no fuss.

It installs entirely from above the desk

Float is a top-down installation. Every part of the mount goes on from above the desk surface, so nobody has to get underneath with a torch and a hex key to reach a bolt they cannot see. At one desk that is a small mercy. Across a fit-out it changes the numbers: installation time per workstation drops sharply, and in an office that is already occupied a screen can be mounted at somebody's desk without an installer crawling under their legs while they work. It is the single strongest reason Float suits volume and project work.

Both mounting kits are in every box, and both go on the same way. Use the desk clamp or the grommet mount, on desk tops from 10 to 50 mm thick, and decide on site rather than at purchase-order stage.

Why Float?

• Effortless positioning, mechanical spring tension lets you reposition your screen with one finger
• Top-down installation, the whole mount fits from above the desk, no crawling underneath
• Room for the screens people actually buy, 17 to 40 inches and 2 to 11 kg, including curved monitors at 2 to 10 kg, so a 34-inch ultrawide sits happily on a single arm
• Full range of motion, +75/-45 degree tilt, 90 degree swivel each way, 180 degree rotation each way, and 469 mm of reach
• Quick-release VESA plate, clip the screen on and off in seconds for cleaning, cable changes or a desk move
• Both mounting kits included, desk clamp and grommet in every box, for desk tops 10 to 50 mm thick
• Cable management built in, integrated channels keep your desk clean
• Universal VESA compatibility, fits 75x75mm and 100x100mm VESA patterns
• Durable finish, powder-coated aluminium, steel and plastic construction, in Black and White
